Configuring Your Vidrunner Settings

We highly recommend your settings before getting started.

If you use product links, payout and Amazon tag information can affect how your links are created and tracked.

Visit Settings when you want to:

Profile information is optional, but it can help keep your account organized.

Update this information if you work with a team or need support to identify your account quickly.

Payout information is highly recommended if you use product links.

This helps ensure Vidrunner has the information needed to ensure you get paid for Amazon products that pay higher commissions through Lasso's Brand Deals.

You can update this after your earn, but you'll get payouts faster if it's updated first.

Settings help you apply account defaults.

Your connected channel tells Vidrunner which YouTube channel to scan, import, and optimize.

In Settings, review your connected channel to make sure Vidrunner is linked to the correct YouTube account.

This is important if:

If the wrong channel is connected, update or reconnect the correct one before scanning or optimizing videos.

If you use Amazon product links, set your default Amazon tag in Settings.

A default Amazon tag helps Vidrunner apply the correct tracking information when product links are generated.

Default timestamp settings help Vidrunner format timestamp suggestions in a way that matches your channel style.

This determines how detailed the timestamps are and how many chapters it identifies.
