One of the biggest benefits of LassoCreators is that you can earn higher commissions on eligible Amazon products without changing your content or your audience's shopping experience.
How higher commissions are applied
Once you've connected your website or YouTube channel, Lasso automatically detects the Amazon links in your content.
Whenever someone clicks one of your Amazon links, Lasso automatically checks whether that exact product is in our network of Brand Deals.
Note: Brand Deals are premium commission agreements that Lasso has negotiated directly with brands on behalf of all Lasso users. These rates are often much higher than standard Amazon Associates commissions because they're required to be 5% or higher.
If we find a matching Brand Deal, Lasso automatically updates the tracking for that click so you earn the higher commission.
The product doesn't change.
The Amazon shopping experience doesn't change.
Your audience continues shopping on Amazon exactly as they normally would.
The only difference is that you earn the higher commission and receive payment from Lasso for that sale instead of Amazon.
What happens to the link?
For example, let's say this is your original link:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0778V7RVR?tag=trackingid-20
The Brand Deals like would look like this:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0778V7RVR?maas=maas_adg_api_583993949252548674_static_9_129&ref_=aa_maas&tag=maas&aa_campaignid=lv_jTDhPceYKcdVMAe40I&aa_adgroupid=lv_p6CWCzjXT1EDvOegVu&aa_creativeid=lv_EuX4UiLyJhbPb9c704&m=A3UH2S5IAJUAO4
The custom "maas" attributes tells Amazon and the specific brand that the referral came from you. It works just like a normal tracking ID, expect it's reported through your Lasso account instead of Amazon Associates.
If you've heard of Amazon Attribution, it is the same tracking process. Lasso just automates it so you don't need to manually get new links for every product. đď¸
What happens if there isn't a Brand Deal?
If we don't have a Brand Deal for the product someone clicked, nothing changes.
Your link continues working exactly as it normally would, and you'll earn the standard Amazon Associates commission for any qualifying purchases.
Lasso only upgrades your commission when a higher-paying opportunity exists.
The best part?
You don't have to swap your links every time the rates change.
Each time someone clicks one of your Amazon links, Lasso checks whether a Brand Deal is available for that exact product.
That means if a new Brand Deal becomes available in the future, your eligible clicks can begin earning the higher commission automatically.
And if the current Brand Deal goes away, you'll earn your default Amazon Associates rate just like normal. (Just make sure you add your tracking ID in your Lasso Settings.)
