Overview
If you're using Lasso's link cloaking feature and using TranslatePress, your cloaked Lasso URLs may be translated as well. This can cause the Lasso links to not redirect properly.
For example, a Lasso link like this: example.com/your-link.
Might get a language subfolder, depending on the language of the page the link is on, like this: example.com/en/your-link.

How to Exclude Lasso URLs from TranslatePress Translations
Note: This only excludes the appearance of cloaked Lasso links themselves (ex: example.com/your-link). It will not exclude the text of your Lasso Displays. The titles, descriptions, etc will still be translated for easy reading.
In the advanced settings of TranslatePress, there is an option for "Do not translate certain paths." This option allows you to identify specific links that you don't want to be translated by TranslatePress. By adding your Lasso cloaked link prefix to this list, you can ensure that your cloaked URLs remain unchanged.
To do this:
1. First go to WordPress >Lasso > Settings.
2. Then, make sure you have a Cloaked Link Prefix. If you don't yet have one, add a word that you would like to use to identify your Lasso links.
This will make your cloaked Lasso links look like example.com/lasso/your-link.
The prefix can be anything you'd like but will be visible to your readers. In this example, we'll use lasso.
3. Hit Save Changes at the bottom of the page to apply the new Cloaked Link Prefix to your links.
4. Go to the advanced settings of TranslatePress.
5. Select the option for Exclude Paths from Translation.
6. Add your new Cloaked Link Prefix to the box provided.
For example, if you use lasso as your Cloaked Link Prefix, you would add /lasso/* to this box.
🚥 Note: You must include the "/" before and after the prefix, as well as the "*" at the end.
7. Once you've added your Cloaked Link Prefix to the "Exclude Paths from Translation" box, save your changes in TranslatePress.
What Happens Next?
Once that's done, your cloaked Lasso URLs will no longer be translated by TranslatePress or receive their language-specific subfolders. 🎉
