Why Should You Customize Your Buttons?
Buttons are your main call-to-action. They grab your readers' attention and are clearly action-driven.
With the right color, copy, and styling options, you'll boost your conversions with Lasso buttons.
Let's learn how!
Tips for Primary Buttons
The first button on your Lasso display is controlled by your Primary Destination URL. It's automatically created any time you add a new link to the Lasso WordPress Plugin.
Use the Primary Button To:
Send users to your main affiliate offer
Link directly to Amazon or a high-converting product page
Drive traffic to the place where you earn the best commissions
Tips for CustomizingYour Primary Button:
Use benefit-driven language that explains what the user will do instead of just where the reader goes.
Use: Check Price on Amazon, Get the Deal
Avoid: Amazon, More Info
Match the intent of the page.
Product Reviews: Check Price, Buy Now
Tutorials: Try for Free, Get Started
Deals: Save Today, See Deal
Use complementary colors that match your site's branding.
Example: Lasso uses green for our CTAs because purple is our primary brand color.

FAQs
Do you have to use the secondary button for a link to another store?
Not at all! You can also use the secondary button to link to a review on your site or any link whatsoever.
Can you promote another store when also promoting Amazon?
If you're recommending Amazon and another store, we recommend adding Amazon as the Secondary Destination URL. This way, you're not going against Amazon's Terms of Service.
Amazon does not allow you to use their product data to link to another store. With Lasso, product data will only be pulled from the Primary Destination URL. If you include the Amazon URL in the Secondary Destination URL, no Amazon information will be used.
If you'd like to have Amazon as the first button, you can use your own photo of the product and turn off pricing information.
If you're worried about violating Amazon's Terms of Service, we recommend consulting an attorney.
