Lasso works with Geniuslink. But if you use Geniuslink to generate affiliate links, you need to be sure you're following any relevant Terms of Service. Most affiliate programs allow cloaking, but some do not.
The big one here is Amazon. According to the Amazon Associates Operating Agreement Program Policies documentation:
“You will not cloak, hide, spoof, or otherwise obscure the URL of your Site containing Special Links (including by use of Redirecting Links) or the user agent of the application in which Content is displayed or used such that we cannot reasonably determine the site or application from which a customer clicks through such Special Link to the Amazon Site.”
While possible, we do not recommend cloaking geni.us links, as Amazon may have an issue with that. And if there's one thing we don't want, it's for you to get banned from Amazon.
The safer alternative is to add Amazon.com links directly into Lasso:
There's no need to go into your Amazon Associates account to generate an affiliate link.
It'll be easier to manage links in Lasso than in both Lasso and Geniuslink.
You'll never have cloaked Amazon links.
Then install the Geniuslink code snippet to internationalize your links, and you're good to go!
