If you haven't yet, please log into your Performance Dashboard. Click Add Connection, select Rakuten, and you'll be prompted to enter your credentials.

Here's What You'll Need to Connect Rakuten to Performance:

  • Site ID

  • Client ID

  • Client Secret

  • Security Token

Here's How to Get That Information:

Site ID

First, log into your Rakuten account.

Towards the top of the screen, you'll see your username followed by a six-digit SID.

This SID is your Site ID. Please copy and paste this into your Performance Connections modal.

Client ID and Client Secret

You'll first need to create an Application in Rakuten to get your Client ID and Client Secret.

To do this, go to the Rakuten Developer Portal.

Click Account in the top right corner to reveal a dropdown menu, then select Applications.

(Note: If it says Login instead of Account, clicking Login should automatically sign you in with your existing Rakuten credentials from before.)

On the following page, click the purple button for Add Application.

A pop-up modal will appear. Please give your Application a name (ex: Lasso), and then click Create.

Once that's done, you'll see a green bar saying, "Successfully created API credential: Lasso" (or whichever Application name you picked).

Your Application will appear below that with a Client ID and Client Secret.

Both the Client ID and Client Secret will be a random string of numbers and letters. Please copy and paste both of these into your Performance Connections modal.

Security Token

You'll find your Security Token back in your standard Rakuten account.

Click the Links tab in the top menu, and then choose Web Services.

Your Security Token will then show at the very bottom of that page.

Please copy and paste your Security Token into your Performance Connections modal.

In your Performance Connections modal, click Submit. Then you're all set. 😎
