As a Lasso affiliate, we want to help you promote Lasso effectively so that you can maximize your earnings. We’re here to help you be successful however we can.

Here are some tips for promoting Lasso, or any other affiliate product, to your audience:

Create High-Quality Content

Creating high-quality content is one of the most important ways to promote Lasso effectively.

What's high-quality content? It's engaging blog posts, videos, or social media content that excites your audience and provides Lasso as a solution to their problems.

Here are some tips for creating quality content:

  • Write content that's highly relevant to your audience (i.e, don’t talk to an audience of WordPress developers about how Comparison Tables will make their content look better. They don’t think that way!).

  • Use headings, subheadings, and bullet points to make it easy to read. These days, people don’t read articles; they skim. Make them stop and click!

  • Add screenshots, CTA buttons, and product boxes to engage your readers (Lasso makes this super easy). These things increase clickthrough rates like you wouldn’t believe.

  • Write about Lasso's unique features and benefits and how they can help your audience. A great way to do this is by adding Lasso to your existing content and conveying how it will help with specific situations.

Follow SEO Best Practices

Search engine optimization (SEO) can help you increase traffic to your content and promote Lasso to a wider audience.

Here are some tips for getting started:

  • Use relevant keywords in your content, including in your headlines and subheadings. Whenever possible, try to target info keywords and provide Lasso as a solution to your reader’s problems.

  • Use headings (H1, H2, etc.) to structure your content. The primary ideas in your blog post should be H2s, and secondary headings should descend beneath each H2. If you transition to a new idea, you need a new H2.

  • Use internal and external links to provide more value to your audience. Your internal links should be thoughtfully placed, and your anchor text should describe the destination.

  • Consider using an SEO plugin, such as Yoast SEO for WordPress, to help optimize your content. These plugins don’t give you all the answers, but they do provide some basic guidelines.

Build an Email List

All of our top affiliates send the bulk of their referrals through their newsletters/email lists.

Email is still a powerful marketing tool and a great way to promote Lasso to the most motivated members of your audience.

Here are some tips for building an email list and creating engaging email campaigns:

  • Offer a lead magnet, such as an e-book or checklist, in exchange for your audience's email addresses.

  • Use a professional email marketing platform, such as Mailchimp or ConvertKit, to manage your email list and send campaigns.

  • Create engaging email content that promotes Lasso's unique features and benefits. Show your audience exactly how Lasso will fit their workflow and help improve their niche site income.

  • Use segmentation to send targeted emails to specific groups within your email list. Different members of your audience have different needs, so catering your emails will save everyone time and drive more conversions.

Use Paid Advertising

Some people are surprised to hear we allow our affiliates to use paid advertising campaigns to promote Lasso. However, as long as you follow our program’s rules, we’re happy to receive paid traffic.

One thing to remember is that we don’t allow our affiliates to bid on branded terms, such as “Lasso WordPress Plugins.” Doing so could result in the closure of your affiliate account and forfeiture of your commissions.

If you’re ever in doubt about your ad campaigns, please reach out to [email protected], and one of us will take a look at what you’re working on.

Here are a few tips to help you promote Lasso using paid traffic:

  • Use reliable ad networks like Google AdWords or Facebook ads to promote Lasso to your target audience. Low-end penny-click ad networks will drive low-quality leads and bot traffic, which is a waste of everyone’s time and resources.

  • Use clear, concise messaging and eye-catching visuals to capture your audience's attention. Make sure you’re accurately conveying what Lasso is and what it does.

  • Test different ad formats and targeting options to find what works best for your audience. Successful ad campaigns are a game of testing and measuring incremental changes until you find what works.

  • Use analytics to track the effectiveness of your ad campaigns and make adjustments as needed.

Leverage Social Media

While social media can be a great way to build an engaged audience, it’s not a great place to directly promote products (people don’t often go to Twitter to buy things).

With that said, you’re more than welcome to promote Lasso on your social media as long as you follow our program terms.

Here are a few tips for promoting Lasso on social media.

  • Use hashtags to improve discoverability. Your existing audience will see the post, but you want to reach as many people as possible.

  • Engage with your followers by responding to comments and messages. This will make them feel heard and build trust.

  • Consider running social media contests or giveaways to generate more engagement. Your audience will love this, and it will help you find new followers quickly.

Track Your Results

Tracking the effectiveness of your promotional efforts is crucial to improving your results over time.

Here are some tips for using analytics to track your results:

  • If you use Lasso to manage your affiliate links, connect it to Google Analytics. That way, you can track which displays and links get the most clicks.

  • Use A/B testing to test different content, designs, and messaging. Remember only to run one A/B test at a time to get accurate results.

  • Use heatmaps and other analytics tools to track user behavior on your website. A tool like Hotjar can show you what parts of your website users are engaging with and where they are getting stuck.

Conclusion

Promoting Lasso effectively requires a combination of quality content, thoughtful campaigns, and an engaged audience.

By using these best practices, you can maximize your earnings and increase the value you provide to your audience.
