What Are Performance Integrations (And How to Use Them)?

How to get started with Integrations and allocate them to different sites - plus common FAQs.

Integrations are your way to connect affiliate networks to your Performance Dashboard.

Once you connect your Integrations, Performance will aggregate all of your affiliate network clicks, revenue, and earnings per click (EPC) in one convenient Dashboard.

We'll also combine that data with reader behavior on your site, so you can tell exactly which links and posts are driving that revenue.


Getting Started with Integrations

To get started with Performance, you'll first need to head to the Integrations tab.

Once there, you can click the Add Integration button to start connecting your affiliate networks.

That will bring up the list of available affiliate networks in Performance, but you can also view the full list right here.


What Happens After You Add Integrations

After you add your Integrations, Performance will encrypt and then validate your credentials.

Then, revenue and click data will show in your account within 24 hours.

You can then view all of your data directly in the Performance Dashboard.


How to Ensure Your Connections Are Working

Beside each Integration, you'll see your authentication status.

A green check mark ensures everything is connected and working normally:

A purple lightning bolt means your Integration is connected but is still in early access:

Two green arrows spinning in a circle means we're working on validating your Integration:

A yellow warning sign indicates your Integration is valid, but there's an issue pulling data:

A red X means that your Integration failed verification and needs to be updated:

How to Allocate Integrations to Different Sites

You have two options to allocate your Integrations to individual sites.

If you use your Integration entirely for one site, you can click the Site URL text box. A dropdown box will appear, so you can choose the applicable site.

If multiple sites share the Integration, click the Tag by Advertiser button below the Site URL text box. A list of each Advertiser that you use with that Integration will appear. Then, you can allocate each of those Advertisers to your different sites.

Note: You can leave the Site URL blank if you use one site.


FAQs

What are early access Integrations?

Early access Integrations connect in exactly the same way as regular Integrations. The only difference is that the devs are putting the finishing touches on the Integration before releasing the data.

Adding your credentials will ensure that the Integration goes live as quickly as possible. We'll test your credentials to make sure that everything works perfectly prior to launch.

When you connect with early access, you'll get your data the minute the Integration officially goes live.

The revenue tracked won't count toward your monthly totals until it appears in your Dashboard.

Are my credentials safe?

Absolutely! We encrypt your credentials as soon as you add them to Performance.

Will I be able to see historical data?

Yes! Once your credentials are verified, we'll start pulling your most recent data first. Then, we'll pull up to two years' worth of historical data for you to view in your account.

What if you don't have the Integration(s) I need?

If you don't see the Integration you need, all you need to do is click the Request an Integration button on your Integrations page. There, you can add your upvote for any and all Integrations you'd like to see in Performance.
