Overview
Credits help measure usage for features that process videos, scan content, or create optimization recommendations.
This guide explains what uses credits, how subscription and one-time credits work, and what to do if your balance looks incorrect.
When Credits Are Used
Credits are consumed when Vidrunner generates timestamps, tags, or links.
Each action costs 1 credit for a maximum of 3 credits per video if you generate them all at once.
Regenerating information costs 1 more credit. Ie: If you regenerate tags, it costs you 1 credit.
If for some reason Vidrunner cannot complete the assigned generation, it will add the credits back to your account.
Subscription Credits vs. One-Time Credit Purchases
Vidrunner offers credits in two ways: credits included with your subscription and credits purchased separately.
Subscription Credits
Subscription credits are included with your Vidrunner plan.
These credits will:
Renew on a regular billing cycle (monthly or yearly)
Be used before one-off purchased credits
Your plan determines how many subscription credits you receive and how often they refresh.
One-Time Credit Purchases
One-time credit purchases let you add extra credits when you need more than your plan includes.
These are useful when:
You are optimizing many videos at once
You used your monthly credits but still need to keep working
You need a temporary usage boost without changing your subscription
What Happens When Credits Run Out
If your account runs out of credits, Vidrunner may pause or block actions that require credits.
You will still be able to:
Sign in to your account
View previously imported videos
Review previously generated suggestions
Copy existing results into YouTube Studio
Manage your account or billing settings
Change your tracking IDs for specific videos
You can not start new credit-consuming actions until more credits are available.
To continue, you can wait for subscription credits to renew, upgrade your plan if available, or purchase more credits.
How to View and Purchase More Credits
Your credits will always show in the top right of any Vidrunner page.
You can click this to purchase more credits. From there, choose the option to purchase additional credits or update your plan.
A typical purchase flow includes:
Choose a credit package or plan option.
Review the price and credit amount.
Complete checkout.
Return to Vidrunner and confirm your updated balance.
After purchase, the credits will appear on your account immediately.
If they do not appear right away, refresh the page or sign out and back in.
